Sea fishing in Cornwall can be the most productive in the country, you can fish for a wide range of species throughout the year and are almost spoilt for choice on marks to choose from. 

Loe Bar near Porthleven is a deep water beach that fishes well all year round, however it becomes more productive from October onwards for Small-Eyed-Ray, Dabs, Whiting, Pouting, Cod, Dogfish, Conger and the occasional large Bass. The top baits are frozen Sand eel and Lugworm. Please be warned, it is not advisable to wade in the water due to the permanent rip current. This beach is a non-bathing area at all times. Directions:- From Camborne take the B3303 for Helston, keep going onto the B302 still for Helston, carry on onto A394 again for Helston. Turn Right onto B3304 for Porthleven. Go into the Porthleven Harbour, follow the road on the left hand-side of the harbour, follow through and take the 2nd right to far car park. Walk the coastal footpath to the part of the beach with a large pond behind you.

Penzance Pier– Penzance. Great summer time mark. Ideal for children. Main species caught are Mackerel, Garfish, Pollack, Wrasse and the occasional Flat fish. Top Baits Spinning with Sand eel or fish bottom with Ragworm. Easy Access. Directions:- From Camborne take the A30 for Penzance, can't miss the harbour on the left hand-side.

Lamorna Cove (pier) South Coast. A whole array of species are caught from this mark. Both spinning, float and bottom produce. Spinning using sand eel or Mackerel strip, float the same and bottom fishing using Ragworm or Lugworm. Ideal for children. Good Access. Directions: - Take the A30 to Penzance, follow the sign post for Newlyn. At Newlyn take the B3315, follow this road for aprrox 3 mile. Lamorna is on the left hand-side.

Porthoustock – NR St. Keverne. Great Rock mark for Wrasse fishing. Also Mackerel, Garfish, Pollack, Conger and Dogfish. Best Bait and Method is float fishing with small sand eel or a strip of Mackerel. Bottom Fishing with Ragworm or Mackerel. Directions:- From Camborne take the B3303 for Helston, keep going onto the B302, carry on onto A394 again for Helston. Take the A3083 for The Lizard, at the first roundabout take the B3293 for St. Keverne, carry on through St. Keverne to Porthoustock.

Newquay Headland - Newquay is a good rock mark to catch a wide variety of species, all year round. This spot is not suitable for young children. Bottom, float or spinner fishing with all types of bait are all good tactics. Just pick a species. Directions:- From Camborne Take the A30 for Bodmin, at the 1st roundabout take the A3075 for Newquay. Go straight across at the 2nd roundabout, down over the hill to the next roundabout. At the roundabout take the 1st left and left again, then 1st right and follow through to National Trust Car Park.

Portreath on the North Coast. This Beach/Rock mark fishes at it's best through the summer months for Gurnards, Turbot, Plaice, Mackerel, Garfish, Pollack, Wrasse and Bass. Mainly bottom fishing with Ragworm or sand eel catches the species. Directions:- From Camborne tale the A30 for Bodmin, turn off at the B300 for Portreath and follow through to car park. Car Park closes at 10pm, don’t get locked in.

Hayle Beach at the Godrevy end. Good mark for Bass. Daytime or Night time bottom fishing with Lugworm, Ragworm or live eel. Suitable for Children. Directions:- From Camborne take the A30 for Penzance at the 1st Round about take the last exit for Hayle. Take a right at the next roundabout, follow the road for approx. 3 mile and you will see the sign post for Godrevy.

Just Right of the Light House, near the large Rock. A superior mark for all species, any bait goes. Always sunny, no wind and flat sea!!!!!! An Anglers Dream!
